Visit to Texas

Here I am in Texas! I am spending the weekend in Dallas/Fort Worth visiting family and my best friend and her husband. This is the first time Jeremy and I have been in different states since our wedding on June 30. Love you, honey!

I went to my first state fair today, and I REALLY feel like I got a real taste of Texas!

"Big Tex" is the GIGANTIC mascot of the Texas State Fair. I think he looks kind of creepy...

Three of Jeremy's siblings and their families live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. When I come down to visit about twice a year, I get to see everybody at once. I love it!

Bethany picked me up at the airport on Thursday night, after I feverishly worked on my informal wedding picture album the whole flight to Texas! I wanted to have it done for everybody to be able to look at while I was here. After she picked me up, we went to Cheddar's for spinach dip and tortilla chips, and a famous cookie monster dessert - it was wonderful!

We spent Friday with my sister-in-law, Tiffany, getting massages, eating and chatting at Panera, and shopping at Bethany's favorite thrift store, Thrift Town! We got some AWESOME deals! I got clothes and household items to die for! We had tacos and watched "Housesitter" with Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin last night - very hilarious!

Tomorrow we are having breakfast at Cracker Barrel with my Jeremy's siblings...my new family...and with Dave and Bethany. Can't wait!

Hi there-

Very random and somewhat rude question! I wanted to check and see if you plan on using this blog anymore? If not, we'd love to have the name.....we've had some security issues with our current name (it includes our first names) and have to change it.

Don't want to be pushy & I fully understand if you have no desire to get rid of the address to your blog! I just noticed you hadn't posted in over a year, so thought I'd check.

Thanks in advance!
